Hylands House // Chelmsford, Essex
This wedding had a great feel to it and felt very lively from the start if the day! This was at the impressive Georgian Hylands House nestled on the edge of the city of Chelmsford in Essex. The wedding really took advantage of the strengths of the venue, using a beautiful grand room to hold the venue, having a fantastic air conditioned Marquee area for the food and even one of the rooms dedicated to a big screen showing the World Cup Final!
The little touches were great and the colours at this wedding was absolutely perfect. A beautiful gold and rose gold theme ran through the entire wedding. In the marquee area of Hylands House there were huge amounts of beautiful blush toned peonies and other flowers and a fantastic stage area for the bride and groom to sit and be greeted by their family and friends.
The groom’s Dhol drumming procession was absolutely amazing and so lively. It was so good to be right in there at the heart and document the happiness and liveliness of the groom and his guests, dancing and enjoying themselves to the beat of the Dhol. The catering was fantastic at the venue and as there was so much of it, the bride and groom were able to sneak off for a while as the guests were still tucking in, for some beautiful photos in the golden sunset!
The weather really topped off a fabulous day and to see the photos of this, just scroll down to view them from the Hylands House wedding or click here to view other weddings that I’ve shot!
